  • Evidence that he came in 1856 is confirmed in information found in Church financial records and his obituary.

    The obituary of his wife states that she and her husband, Richard Money, sailed to America in 1855 on the ship Samuel S. Curling.  Her name does not appear on the index to passengers of the ship, but it is below her husband's name on the ship manifest as "Margt."
