  • Evidence from emigration (Perpetual Emigrating Fund) records proves the Barentsen family traveled to Utah in 1863. She traveled with her husband, Anders M and two daughters Else and Marie K. on the ship B. S. Kimball in 1863. Further research is need to find the company she came in.
