  • Evidence from emigration and church (Perpetual Emigrating Fund) records proves the Andersen family traveled to Utah in 1863. The family sailed to America in 1863 on the ship B. S. Kimball.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.

    Her death certificate and the inscription on her gravestone show her surname as "Petersen."
