Lydia Ann Carter

  • Although documentation is lacking, it is likely that Dominicus Carter brought all his wives and children with him to Utah in 1851.  Lydia is the daughter of Dominicus and Lydia Smith (died in 1838.)  In the 1850 federal census she was in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.  She married Edward Martin Peck.
