  • George, his wife Catherine, children George, Elizabeth and Henry came from England in 1853 on the ship Golconda.  Their surname is spelled "Cotterall" on the ship manifest.

    Evidence from emigration and genealogical records proves that the Cottrell family traveled to Utah in 1854.  His death en route is mentioned in his son's obituary.

    The above date in the "Birth Date" field is his christening date.
