  • Evidence from emigration and church (Perpetual Emigrating Fund) records proves she traveled to Utah in 1863. She traveled with her mother, Sarah Ann Kitchen Armitage Cheetham. Her surname is listed as "Cheetham" on the ship manifest.

    In some sources her surname is spelled "Armitage" and "Banks" on the 1870 Utah census, Eastern Idaho deaths and Find A Grave website.  She married William Holmes Banks.
