  • George, his wife Mary Ann and their children (Susan King, Caroline, and George Jr.) sailed on the Camillus in 1853. Evidence from emigration and genealogical records proves the Jarvis family traveled to Utah in 1853. Ann and George were re-baptized at Salt Lake City on 3 April 1854 and George died shortly thereafter. Later Ann married William Spooner Gibbs. The Find A Grave website lists her as Ann Roland Gibbs. According to the Tenth Ward record of members, her birthday was 2 June 1823.
