  • Mary's obituary confirms that she came to Utah in 1863, the year she took a PEF loan and sailed to America. She emigrated on the ship The Cynosure. The first documentation to place her in Utah is her marriage to Richard Potter in December 1865. Further research is needed to narrow the year of her travel.
