  • The Lofgren family came to Utah between 1863 and 1868. They likely came to Utah in 1863, the year they took a PEF loan and sailed to America. Carolina and Oluf emigrated on the ship John B. Boyd. But the first documentation to place them in Utah are church ordinances performed in November 1868. Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel. Their surname is also spelled "Loefgren" in some sources.
