  • Wife of John Ostler Jr.  In the 1861 England census she appears in the Ostler household as a "visitor."  Evidence from emigration and church ordinance records proves the Ostler family traveled to Utah in 1861.  They sailed to America in 1861 on the ship Manchester, arriving in New York  City 14 May 1861.  Mary Ann's surname was "Prince" on the ship manifest.  A church ordinance was performed for John and Sarah in Salt Lake City 29 November 1861.
