  • Robert Snyder may have been alive to supply information to the compilers of "Pioneers and Prominent Men" which states he came in the 1848 Brigham Young company. This is confirmed by the minutes of court hearing held in Salt Lake City on 21 Oct. 1848. Brother and Sister "Schneider" (probably Snyder) were members of the Brigham Young company and testify in the hearing.
