  • The Lyon family came to Utah in between 1863-1865, likely 1863 the year they came to America. BThe sailed on the ship John J. Bird. Their name is listed as "Love." The first documentation to place them in Utah mentions Jensine (Zina) received her church ordinances in December 1868. Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel. Their surname is also spelled "Lyon" and "Love" in some documents. Jensine is also seen as "Zina" in some documents.
