  • She sailed to America with her sister, Frederikka, on the Franklin (also known as the Yankee Ranger). Her name on the ship manifest and the Scandinavian Mission records is listed as "Thomine Berthelsen." In the Deseret News roster, her name is listed as "Jemima Bertleson." Family Search has her name listed as "Ottemine Cathrine." She was re-baptized on 17 October 1862 in the Mt. Pleasant ward.
