  • Margaret and her daughters likely came to Utah 1857, the year after Margaret was listed in the Perpetual Emigrating Fund. The family sailed to America in 1857 on the ship Westmoreland.

    The first documentation to place them in Utah are church records in November of 1862.

    Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her death certificate, which shows her name as "Caroline Christensen."
