  • Evidence from emigration and genealogy records proves that the Jensen family traveled to Utah in 1857. In some sources his name is "Jorgen Petersen."

    He came to America on the ship Westmoreland in 1857 with his sisters, Kirsten and Dorthea.  The ship manifest lists his name as "Jorgen Petersen."

    He was born Pedersen came on the ship as Jensen and changed his name to Lollin.
