  • Evidence from emigration and genealogy records proves that the Jensen family traveled to Utah in 1857. In some sources her surname is "Petersen."

    She came on the ship, Westmoreland in 1857 with her sister, Kirsten and brother Jorgen.  The ship manifest shows their surname as "Petersen."
