  • Lucinda and her husband, Henry, traveled to the Salt Lake Valley with an unknown company in 1853. They were married in early 1853 in Illinois and the first documentation to place them in the Valley is the birth of a child on 21 May 1854, which was prior to that year's emigration season. Lucinda's obituary confirms their travel in 1853. Further research is needed to identify the name of the company with which they traveled.
