  • Mary Ann arrived in New York on 6 July 1866 via the ship Arkwright. Emma Cheatham is listed on the PEF record along with her, indicating that they were traveling together. The Thompson company records also confirm that Mary was traveling with a companion as she purchased enough food rations for two adults. She later married John Ockford Butler.
