  • Caroline was the daughter of Joseph John Ketchum and his wife Sophia Elizabeth Parsons.  She was baptized at Salt Lake City on 6 November 1850 as "Loisa Katcham;" but she appears in the 1850 Utah census as Caroline Neeley (her mother had married Lewis Neeley Sr. at Council Bluffs Iowa.)
