  • David came from Scotland in 1856 on the ship Thornton.

    David came to Utah sometime between 1856 and 1862. He sailed to America in 1856, but the first documentation to place him in Utah is his marriage in September 1862. Further research is needed to determine the year he came to Utah and the name of the company he traveled with.

    He came from Scotland on the ship Thornton in 1856.
