  • Elizabeth Rowley and her sons George and William crossed the Atlantic on the ship Clara Wheeler in 1854, arriving in New Orleans in 1855.  William died at St. Louis in February 1855.  Elizabeth and George appear in the 1856 Utah census, taken in February 1855, in Weber County.  Further research is needed to identify the name of the company with which they traveled.
