  • Elizabeth Rowley and her sons George and William crossed the Atlantic on the ship Clara Wheeler in 1854, arriving in New Orleans in January 1855.   William died at St. Louis, Missouri in February 1855.  Elizabeth and George appear in the 1856 Utah census (taken in February) in Weber County.  Further research is needed to identify the name of the company with which they traveled.  George died at St. Anthony, Idaho.
