  • The Christensen family came to Utah between 1860 and 1864. They likely came in 1860, the year they sailed to America. But the first documentation to place them in Utah is a marriage in April 1865 which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel.

    He came on the ship, William Tapscott in 1860 with his wife, Maren and children Anna Marie, Christine, Dorthea and Elin Marie. His wife and daughter, Elise Marie dies at sea.
