  • She traveled to Utah with some of her children from her marriages to Edward Lawrence and Josiah Butterfield.  

    The 1850 Utah census shows their names as Mary J. Butterfield, Don C. Lawrence, and Edward Lawrence.  Don and Edward were the sons of Margaret and Josiah Butterfield.  

    Margaret was rebaptized in Salt Lake City on 6 March 1851.
