  • The Moore family arrived in New York  on 5 July 1866 via the ship American Congress. The the overland company records only list Henry, as head of household, the notation showing he purchased 2 adult food rations indicates his wife was with him during that portion of the trip as well. The presence of baby Christena on the 1870 census shows that she made and survived the trip as well.
