  • Evidence from emigration and genealogical records proves that Elijah traveled to Utah in 1867. Further research is needed to confirm the name of the company he traveled with to Utah.  In the 1870 federal census of Utah he is "Henry" White together with his wife Elizabeth and daughter "Edeth."

Listed in Ledger B of Perpetual Emigrating Fund records as "Elijah White."

His birth and death dates are confirmed by the Utah State History Cemeteries and Burials Database.

There is some evidence to suggest that he may have traveled with the Leonard G. Rice company (1867). More research is needed to confirm this possibility.
