James Chadwick
Evidence from Church records (Perpetual Emigrating Fund) and biographical records proves that James traveled to Utah in 1860. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company he traveled with. A few years after he arrived, he is seen on the plains again, this time as a teamster for William Preston's 1864 out-and-back company.
