  • Her obituary, which is shown on the Find A Grave website at  http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=15222894, includes the following:  "She was born in Wensbury, England, March 17, 1841, a daughter of John and Eliza Cranage Barnett.  She came to the United States in 1855 with her parents as L.D.S. converts.  She was married to Joseph Wright in Philadelphia in 1858.  In 1861 they crossed the plains with their two children in the Milo Andrews [Andrus] ox team train."  The obituary of her son William also confirms her travel in 1861.

She sailed to America with her parents and siblings in 1855 on the ship Sidons, arriving in Philadelphia 20 April 1855.

In early records of the Ogden, Utah 1st Ward her middle name is spelled "Emma Louisa."
