  • The obituary of Lois Ann and genealogical records proves that the Jordan family traveled to Utah 1851. Lois Ann Coon Jordan's obituary states that they came in 1851. A son was born in December 1851 at Salt Lake City. Her son, Ransom Abraham Stevens also traveled with her.  Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her obituary.

    Further research is needed to determine the name of the company with which the family traveled to Utah.
