  • The Lowe family emigrated to the United States in 1848. The traveled on the ship Erin's Queen. They family arrived in Utah sometime in 1851. This was confirmed using a Deseret News newspaper advertisement for John Lowe's shoe making business. The date of the newspaper is November 15, 1851. More research is required to determine with which company the family was associated.
