John Chamberlain Badger
Evidence from census and newspaper records proves that John traveled to Utah by 1850. He appears in the 1850 Utah census, which was taken in the Spring of 1851, prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. A Deseret News article published in January 1851 states that he had gone to Iron County, Utah. Further research is needed to confirm the year he came to Utah and the name of the company he traveled with.
