  • Daughter of James Hodson and his first wife, Margaret Livesey. She traveled with her father, siblings, and stepmother. The Hodson family emigrated from England by way of the ship General McClellan. They then continued their westward journey as part of the 1864 Rawlins Company. Her obituary confirms the fact that her father, James, died while en route to Utah. Her death date is confirmed by her death certificate.
