  • Evidence from census and genealogical records proves that the Bell family traveled to Utah in 1850.  Abner was re-baptized at Salt Lake City on 27 April 1851.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the company they traveled with. Abner's death date is confirmed by the inscription on his gravestone in California.
