  • Evidence from emigration, genealogical, Church records (Perpetual Emigrating Fund) proves that the Martha and Ann English traveled to Utah in 1855. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company they traveled with.

Her name is listed as Annie E. Gardner on her death certificate, and Ann English Gardner on her gravestone.

A secondary Source on Family Tree, Elias Gardner (compiled by Herry Denney 2013), states that Ann and her mother Martha came to Utah in 1855 with the Richard Ballantyne Company.  We have a hand-written roster for that company, but their names do not appear there.  Further research is needed to confirm the information contained in this information.
