Chester Snyder
Church ordinance records suggest he arrived in Utah in 1851. Additional research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which the family traveled.
Chester later participated as one of the rescuers that were sent out in the winter of 1856 to assist the members of the Church stranded in Wyoming.
In the 1850 census the surname is spelled Snider.
Many sources give death date as 21 March, but death notices in the Park Record, indicate he died Thursday night, which would have been the 22nd.
