  • Sarah's mother died in St. Louis in 1852; her father (Robert), crossed the plains with the Livingston and Kinkead Freight Train in 1855. The first known document to list father and daughter together in Utah is the 1860 federal census. Sarah may have crossed the plains with her father in 1855 but additional research is needed to verify this.
