  • Ebbe and his family crossed the Atlantic on the ship Jesse Munn arriving at New Orleans, Louisiana on 20 February 1854.  On both the ship manifest and the New Orleans list of arriving passengers his given name is spelled "Elve."  Ebbe paid tithing at Salt Lake city in 1855.  His son Christian reported that the family crossed the plains in 1854 (see 1900 and 1910 Idaho census.)  Additional research is needed to identify the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.
