  • Evidence from emigration records and the birth of  Joseph Larsen,  in September 1856 in Wyoming proves the Johannes  Larsen family traveled to Utah in 1856.  The family consisted of: Johannes Larsen, age 32, Ane Katrine age 30, Christiana Margrete age 6, Lauritz infant. 

    The family sailed to America in 1856 on the ship Thornton.
