  • Evidence from family correspondence, church, and genealogical records proves that Rachel traveled to Utah in 1863. On 12 June 1863 she was in Omaha, Nebraska waiting to join a pioneer company that was coming to Salt Lake City. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company she traveled with.Rachel was listed as living in Hyrum, Utah in the 1866 Tithing reports.
