  • The Logie family emigrated to the United States in 1856. They were originally on the Julia Ann, but there was a wreck. They were rescued and traveled to Hawaii on the Emma Packer. From there, they continued on into San Francisco. The name of the last ship is not documented. They likely reached Utah early in 1857.
