  • The Nelson family sailed to America in 1857 on the ship Westmoreland.

    Her obituary states that she came to Utah in the 1857 Mathias Cowley Company. 

    Her name appears as "Ingeborg Sophia Nelsen" on her death certificate, and the inscription on her gravestone shows her surname as "Nelson."{
