  • The Stevens family arrived in New York on 24 July 1866 via the ship The St. Mark. Alfred's name is listed on the Scott Company roster with a notation that he purchased four adult food rations, indicating that his family was there for this portion of the journey as well.

    First documentation to place them in the Valley are the rebaptisms of Alfred and Robert in the Slatersville Ward on 6 December 1866. 

    She died with the married name of Parrott.
