  • In 1845 Luvera was a member of the Sand Prairie Iowa Branch of the Church. She and her family crossed the plains between 1859 or 1861. She was re-baptized 27 October 1861 at Centerville, Utah. It has been suggested that she traveled with the Edward Stevenson Company (1859) but, at this time, there are no primary source materials to support her participation in that company. Additional research is needed to identify the exact year and the name of the pioneer company with which the family traveled.

    She is buried in Ogden.
