  • Mary's parents sent their oldest three children to Zion one at a time until the rest of them could come together in the 1866 Daniel Thompson Company. The 1900 census indicates that she emigrated in 1863, which is confirmed by the Cynosure passenger list, arriving in New York on 2 July 1863.

The first documentation to place her in Utah is her marriage in December 1867. She may also be documented in the American Fork Ward at the time of a rebaptism on 4 November 1866.

Further research is needed to identify the name of the company she crossed the plains with.
