  • Their names do not appear on the official company records, but Allen is mentioned in a letter that was sent by the captain of the company to Brigham Young.

    She was rebaptized in Salt Lake City on 27 April 1851.  The Salt Lake Stake Record of Members mistakenly recorded her name as "Viand Green."  This record also confirms her birth date.
