  • Ordinances performed in the 15th Ward first place Evan in Salt Lake on 19 October 1861. Fifteenth ward records confirm birth year.

    Records indicate he traveled with his second wife, Ann Selman.   They were married in 1860 while crossing the ocean on the ship William Tapscott.

    In 1866, Evan traveled home with the Samuel D. White Company at the end of a mission to England, according to a Deseret News article on 30 August 1866.

    His death date is confirmed by his death certificate.
