  • The Quinn family traveled with the Willie Company from Iowa City to Florence, Nebraska where they dropped out. While most of the family remained in the area until 1860, Harriet and her two sisters continued on with the Martin Company.

    The family sailed to America in 1856 on the ship Thornton.

    She married John Hill in 1857 after arriving to Utah.
