  • Anne sailed to America in 1853 on the ship Camillus.  Her husband, George, came to America in 1852 on the ship Constantine, went as far as Ohio in 1852, and then came to Utah in 1854.  His name appears on this database in the 1854 Unknown Company list.

    According to Anne's obituary, she emigrated to Utah in 1853.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled to Utah.

    At the time of the 1856 Utah census, George and Anne were living in the Salt Lake City 18th Ward.

    The 1860 Utah census shows her name as "Anne Walters," the 1870 Utah census has her listed as "Ann Lemmons," and the 1880 Utah Census shows her as "Ann Lemmon."
