  • He and his siblings were traveling with their parents (Allen and Elizabeth Lewis Hendricks), as well as their uncle, Josiah, who was a member of the Mormon emigrant train. The parents died so their uncle took them along with him to the Valley where they settled. Further research is needed to identify the name of the company this family traveled with.

    His travel to Utah is also confirmed by the obituary of Rebecca Eliza.
