  • Isabella Neill emigrated to the United States in 1857 on the George Washington. She sailed on the same ship and traveled in the same company as James King, whom she married after reaching Utah.

It is possible that they may have traveled with the Israel Evans company. The reached Utah sometime in mid-September, and the ship manifest indicates that both James and Isabella were assigned to travel with a handcart company. More research is needed to determine with which company they traveled.
